Industrial Fans India offers a complete range of heavy-duty butterfly and louver dampers to meet your requirements. We have installed butterfly dampers as small as 100 mm diameter to as large as 3100mm diameter and louver damper of maximum size 3750mm height x 16000 mm wide. Our dampers are working in some of the harshest environments where abrasion, corrosion and heavy dust loading are prevalent.

Butterfly dampers are not as precise as louver dampers for flow control but can be used for modulation when precise control is not critical.

For more accurate flow control applications, multi-blade louver dampers, radial vane damper can be used. Simple louver dampers, double louver dampers and tandem louver dampers are used for shutting off and regulating flue gas flows. These are designed in circular or rectangular form according to the requirement.

Guillotine Dampers

Industrial Fans India offers a complete range of heavy duty guillotine dampers to meet customers' requirements. We have installed guillotine dampers in sizes as large as 5100mm dia.

Guillotine dampers are being used for shut-off of dust laden flue gas volumes.

The material of construction of blade and housing is carefully selected to meet specific operating condition and to withstand heat stresses, fatigue, corrosion, and distortion. We have proven reliable designs in some of the most demanding thermal environments such as the Gas turbine outlet, and high corrosion environments such as coal fired power plants.

The damper blade with its grid support structure is designed in such a way that it can only distort minimal when exposed to high temperatures.

The heart of our Guillotine damper is a proven and robust Rack & Pinion design. The design of the rack and pinion system has been specially to make it suitable for very high temperature and severe dust loads in the flue gas. It is operated by an electric actuator in conjunction with rack and pinion systems engaging it on each side, which ensures a parallel blade movement.

Depending on actual service condition and size of the damper Metallic loop seal or metallic bulb may be chosen.

Due to the flexing of the seals during damper operation they clean themselves, and even sediment coatings break away.

With a selected type of seals an area equivalent tightness of 99.98% can be provided. With double seal and seal air fan pressurization 100% gas tight shut off can be achieved.
